Excellent Guinea Pig Food
As you probably know, guinea pigs are succeptible to Vitamin C deficiency. This food has additional in it, which eliminates the need for a Vitamin C additive for their water. I have fed my guinea pig this food for ~15 months, with no issues at all (as verified by vet, that I see every 6 months). The food bag has a closure to help keep the food fresh.

Favorite of my guinea pigs
Very happy to find it on Amazon with great price. Used to buy (the old packaging) from Petco because this is my two guinea pigs’ favorite. Tried different brands and settle on this. Not too much dry fruit/sugar but plenty of VC and chewy stuff. Petco discontinued it and now I don’t have to even drive around to get it.

The Piggies Are Pleased
The piggies absolutely love this food! I’ve tried several others but none get the enthusiastic WHEEK that this one gets. It has a perfect balance of dried foods and pellets to keep them interested. They’ll even eat it straight out of my hand.There’s no overly processed pieces with artificial dyes. Keeps their droppings looking nice and healthy. Very highly recommend!

The guinea pig and chinchillas like this food, it’s fresh and has other ingredients other than just pellets. I was shocked that I went to order more and it had gone up 58.7% overnight, $9.99 to $16.99!

Guinea pig food staple in my household
I buy this and blend it with the Oxbow Garden Select variety to dilute the amount of treats/dried fruit in this food, but my pigs love the variety and I love how high in fiber this food is! The omega fatty acids have made a huge difference in my adopted pigs’ coats, which has been amazing to witness. I’d recommend this food, but do caution the amount of “mix ins” since it makes it easy for pigs to pick the treats out and not eat the vitamin c enriched pellets.

Way better value than we can get at our local pet stores. Our guinea pig doesn’t seem to like the small pellets much but she eats them after she picks out the good stuff.
