High quality bedding for hamsters
High quality bedding for hamsters. Our hamster used this bedding at the small pet store that we got him from, so we continued to use the same brand at home. He loves the shredded card for burrowing and finds it cozy enough. I love that there is minimal dust – other bedding we have tried always leaves a lot of dust particles when cleaning. This bedding absorbs odors well and we find that our hamster only needs to be cleaned out every 3-4 weeks. You get a decent quantity for the money – a box has lasted us around 6-9 months on average. We like the natural brown color bedding and have avoided using any dyed colors.

I purchased this 10 lb box of FiberCore Eco Bedding for my small animals. Overall, the product does function as bedding—it’s absorbent and the bulk box expands to a significant volume, meaning it handles the basic job it’s intended for.What I Liked:Does the Job: The bedding itself is effective and absorbent, functioning well as a base for my animals’ habitat.99% Dust Free: A positive for respiratory health (implied by product description, and a general benefit of paper bedding).What I Didn’t Like:Poor Odor Control: Despite claiming “Odor Control” in the name, it’s not very good at hiding odors. This is a common issue with many paper beddings, but for a premium product, it’s disappointing.Ridiculous Price Point: This is the biggest drawback. The price for this product on Amazon is simply absurd, especially since I found the exact same 10 lb box listed on the brand’s own store for almost half the cost.
