Queen Razzie loves it!
This is a wonderful cat tree – tall, substantial and sturdy! My 8lb Abysinnian went right to it! She likes sitting on the top perch too! I looked at a lot of cat trees before choosing this one. Wood base is very nice and aesthetically pleasing; no issues with my cat slipping or whatever other reviewers were unhappy about regarding the wood base. Queen Razzie loves her tree!

Great scratching post!
Easy to assemble, great height for the cat to stretch, fairly sturdy/stable (8-9 lb cat can climb it and perch on top without issue…slight wobble if the cat jumps onto or off of it with force), good value. I’ve now purchased 4–3 for friends and family.

I really wanted to give this five stars….
But I can’t. I like Zomisa pet products and have several. And this scratching post impressed me right out of the box. It was larger and taller than I was expecting, which is perfect when you have two full-grown cats. The sisal wrapped posts are thick and sturdy, the design is good, assembly is easy, and it’s overall fairly well constructed. My issue with it is the wooden base. It’s not finished. Just running my hand on it, there are spots where my fingers catch, like it wasn’t sanded completely smooth. You can even hear it in the video. Most scratching posts have some sort of carpeting or turf-like wrapping on the bottom base. This one is straight wood. If it’s going to be wood, it needs to be fully finished smooth. There was even a chip in the base that almost caused me to get a splinter. I don’t like splinters in my fingers and I don’t want them in my cat’s paws. I probably won’t have them use this until I can put some sort of carpet or felt covering on the base. It’s a shame because overall it’s a well-constructed product and I think my cats will like it, but I can’t risk splinters in paws. Maybe others received ones that were fully smooth, but this one is not. The price on it isn’t bad, but until they fix the base to either cover it or ensure that it’s fully smooth, I can’t say it’s a good value as I’ll need to do additional work on it to make it usable.

All Around Great Scratch Post
I’ve gone through a few scratching posts, and this is the first one that actually feels like it was designed with a cat’s full stretch in mind. The 35-inch height makes a huge difference—my cat can extend all the way up while scratching, and you can tell she prefers it over the shorter towers we’ve had before.The stability is another big win. This thing is solid. With the thick wooden base, it doesn’t wobble or tip, even when she’s going at it or jumping up onto the top platform. That alone makes it feel like a big upgrade from lighter, flimsier posts.Speaking of the top platform, it’s just the right size for her to stand comfortably. She actually uses it as a little perch now—especially when she wants attention—so it’s kind of become her go-to “pet me” spot.The sisal wrap feels durable and has been holding up well so far, even with regular use. The dangling toys are a nice bonus too, gives her something extra to mess with when she’s feeling playful.Only thing I’ve noticed is with the base alignment. The two wooden halves connect with dowels, but on mine they don’t line up perfectly, so it sits slightly offset. It doesn’t affect stability or performance at all—it’s just one of those small visual things that you notice once and can’t unsee.Pros:* Tall enough for full stretching (huge plus)* Very sturdy and doesn’t tip over* Comfortable top platform for lounging/perching* Durable scratching surface* Bonus hanging toys for extra playCons:* Base pieces don’t align perfectly (cosmetic issue)

Review of ZOMISIA 35” Tall Cat Scratching Post, 4.7” Large Scratch Post with Thicken Wooden Base for Indoor Cats Adults, Sisal Scratcher Top & Dangling Balls, Super SturdyWhy does it seem like I can never have enough scratching posts in my house? The best thing is that my cat actually uses them, mostly the larger ones, which saves my furniture from being destroyed.The first thing I noticed with this cat scratching post is its weight. It feels very sturdy and unlikely to tip over with its very wide base that adds to the post’s stability. The wood is solid and smooth… important for safety. Putting it together was a breeze and took about 5 minutes. The only tool I needed is an allen wrench, which is included. The post stands almost 3 feet tall, so my cat can get a good full stretch with scratches without having to crouch. She hasn’t tried going for the little puff balls yet — they are adorable. The top landing, which also has scratching material is rather small and I don’t expect my cat to get up there but it adds a nice finishing touch and kittens and small cats may appreciate it. The sisal is wrapped well and seems like it will last a long time, which addresses the scratching post’s great quality. Also included are 4 peel and stick floor protection pads — a nice touch.Earns 5 stars because I think it’s a great value ($40 at time of review) for a quality scratching post of this size. My cat has been using it daily which is a win win for my cat and my furniture!
