Its water-resistant design allows effortless cleaning by rinsing with water to remove accumulated hair and dander.

Easy to use dog hair removal comb
I am a owner of shiba inu. I was looking for a dog hair removal comb for my dog’s inner hair. I tried this brush and it works well. The grip for the comb is excellent. It is easy to handle. The metal part of the comb get inner hair and easy to remove after use. I own several different kind of deshedding brushs and this is one of the comb I think is very easy to use and clean.

Spendy but worth it!
Finally a comb for my Shih Tsu that actually helps with his grooming.

Great for getting the under hair
This deshedding brush works really well! It grabs a lot of loose fur without pulling or hurting my dog. My dog sits still while I use it, which says a lot. It’s easy to hold, easy to clean, and makes a big difference in how much hair ends up on the floor. Definitely a great tool if your dog sheds a lot.

Quality deshedding tool—effective but a bit heavy
This grooming tool is very well made and easy to use. The solid wood handle feels great in the hand—easy to grip, smooth, and clearly built to last for years. It is a bit heavier than I would personally prefer, but the weight doesn’t affect its performance. It does an excellent job deshedding our fluffy Frenchie, and she actually enjoys the pampering. The teeth glide through her coat easily and pull out loose fur without tugging or irritating her skin.Overall, it’s a high‑quality tool that works exactly as intended. My only minor complaint is the weight, but the durability and effectiveness make it a worthwhile addition to our grooming routine.

Almost okay, but…
The unit is 5.1″ wide and I found it to be way too wide for deshedding our 55 pound rescue mix. The width is okay for my grip but I much prefer a deshedding “brush” with a handle. At most I am using 2 1/2″ of that width for actual contact on our dog’s back and sides. Obviously, on his legs I am only using about 3/4″ of that width. The construction and quality of the unit is reflected in the price but I would have preferred a smaller less expensive unit. The unit comes in “short teeth” and “long teeth” versions. I got the “long teeth” version and don’t like the way it “drags” through our dog’s coat. I am glad he doesn’t have curly hair or longer hair because I wasn’t impressed with the deshedding I did with the “brush” (not sure why it is referred to as a brush as it it definitely more like a comb.I doubt I will be using it very much, but it may work for other dogs.

I recently received this pawaboo deshedding brush and upon opening was immediately happy to recognize the type of metal bristles on this brush as similar to an older style brush I had that started with “fur” in the name (iykyk). Unlike that product, however, this one was much more affordable with a cute wooden style ergonomic handle.I tried this out on my 6 year old Whipadoor, which is a mix between whippet (looks like a greyhouse) and lab, she is currently going through her spring shed. Normally her shedding is not very noticeable as she sheds very tiny and fine hairs and not many at a time, however when she goes through her major shed twice a year there is NO ESCAPE from all the fur. It gets places you wouldn’t believe, my clothes come out of the wash still hairy. As a result it is imperative to keep her brushed and bathed to cut down on how long the shed lasts for. I tried this brush along with 2 others, and it took top prize! The length of the teeth of this brush were perfect for getting through her coat and actually raking/removing the fine hairs. I have a rake style brush that she loves but the bristles are too wide to adequately remove much hair in a single sweep so I tend to have to rerbrush her over and over. With the Pawaboo I was shocked and how much it raked out in one swipe! Rather than brushing her head to bottom with this, its best to use shorter motions to loosen and release the hair. Not much hair sticks to the brush itself, rather it falls to the floor, so something to keep in mind, might be better to use outside if you aren’t comfortable with vacuuming up that much hair. After giving her a complete brush through with this, then a bath, she is virtually shed free! It is MUCH more manageable and her coat looks fantastic, I feel like I removed a dog’s worth of fur from her.You do not need to use force or pressure with this brush, and I would say its best for short/fine haired dogs as this would never brush through a thicker or bushier coat, however I feel this would work well as a finishing brush for a longer coat as well. Never pull or rip through the dog fur, if the fur is meant to come out a gentle hand is all you need.Very happy with this product!

I picked up the Pawaboo Dog Deshedding Brush to help manage shedding for my small dog, and it’s been surprisingly effective. The brush has a curved head with fine stainless-steel teeth that reach through the top coat and pull out loose undercoat without tugging or scratching the skin. What I like most is how gentle it feels while still removing a lot of fur. After just a few minutes of brushing, there was a noticeable amount of loose hair collected in the brush. My dog didn’t seem bothered by it at all, which is always a good sign. The handle has a comfortable grip and feels sturdy. Cleaning the brush is also simple — most of the fur pulls right off in one clump.Overall, this is a solid deshedding tool for regular grooming, especially for small to medium dogs. It’s lightweight, easy to use, and does exactly what it’s supposed to do.

The ergonomic grip makes it comfortable to hold, even during longer brushing sessions, and the design feels solid rather than flimsy. The bristles reach through the top coat to grab loose undercoat hair without pulling too hard, which makes brushing less stressful for my pet. It’s also just as effective on my cat’s fur when I use it on her. This brush really reduces shedding around the house. After a few good passes, there’s noticeably less hair on the couch and floors, and my dog seems to enjoy the gentle brushing. It’s a great way to prevent mats and keep the coat looking tidy between baths. The wooden handle feels nice in hand and gives the tool a bit more durability compared to all‑plastic brushes I’ve tried. The brush also has a convenient hole for hanging, so it’s easy to store in a grooming drawer or hook. One minor thing is that for very thick or extremely matted fur you might need to take it slowly or use a detangling brush first, but for regular shedding it works really well.

I recently picked up this wooden grooming brush for my two cats, and it’s been a bit of a mixed bag—though mostly positive. The Performance:I tested it on my two cats: one with short, fluffy fur and the other with medium-length, silky hair. It worked wonderfully on both! The long stainless steel teeth did a great job penetrating the thicker fluff and gliding through the silkier coat without snagging. It definitely pulls up a good amount of loose hair and leaves them looking much sleeker. The Experience:Pros: The wooden handle feels premium and fits the hand naturally, which makes the grooming process easy. The rounded teeth are a nice touch; they seem gentle enough that it provides more of a “massage” feel than a scratchy one.The Reality: Despite the “soothing” design, my cats only tolerated it for a very short amount of time before they decided they’d had enough. It works fast, which is lucky, because you might only get a few minutes of cooperation!Final Thoughts:It’s a well-made, durable tool that’s easy to clean and store. While it might not magically turn every pet into a fan of grooming, it’s effective enough to get the job done in those short windows of time they actually allow it.
