Every single dog in this house loves these and has no trouble chewing them at all. My senior dogs sometimes have issues with the hard baked, extra crunchy type biscuits and a lot of the softer, chewier treats are just loaded with corn, wheat or soy which is a problem on a regular basis for two of them. These Ideal Balance Soft Baked Naturals in chicken are an option all six dogs and I can agree on.The cookies are soft and each one is about the size of a dime, so bite size. They smell like chicken to me when I open the bag and the dogs act like I’ve offered them an actual roast bird, so I assume I’m not the only one that thinks so. I can keep a few of these in my pocket on walks without getting that greasy coating left behind that some of the generic grocery store type treats are covered in and I really appreciate that. I’ve already ordered another bag of these in the chicken and one in the beef flavor.

The last order I got was not as soft as the first. They almost felt stale. My dog is old and only likes soft treats so my first order was great my second not as good.
