Best dog food around, Keeps our big boy healthy and happy!
My 6 year old lab/great Pyrenees is a picky boy when it comes to his food. He has had skin sensitivities like itching,dry,dull coat plus getting diarrhea, gas and belly aches. Since we had switched to this food 5+ years ago it’s been so much better! No accidents in the house, the uncomfortable belly aches and bloating are completely GONE! After doing some research basic brand dog foods swell up terrible almost double their size when they get mixed with liquid (just normal water)Diamond grain free DOESN’T! Each bite of this kibble is the size of a dime,being the color of chocolate with a natural protein smell. Not only is the look of this food different it’s also not completely dried out like a cotton ball. You can tell it’s made with exceptional ingredients to keep it job natural. We buy the 28 lb bag and it lasts us a month for our 110 lb Fella. Believe it or not this food helps our pup in tip top shape from healthy energy to keep up with the kids and grandkids as well as getting a good night’s sleep. He isn’t having to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night or having any gas. Diamond is an amazing family owned company who care about our pets, unlike the many others who are a dime a dozen trying to make a buck. We love our Handsome boy so we only feed him the best to keep him happy and healthy. Feel free to do your own research to compare the first five ingredients on the dog food you have to this one. This is a very good kibble that my dog really likes. I was introduced to this by my feed salesman when I told him I couldn’t afford Pro Plan, Merrick or Blue Buffalo and so far it’s very good.The prices on Amazon and free delivery due to my Prime membership makes this and the canned food from Natural Balance a great bargain, delivered right to my door!Another of my great purchases from “My Amazon”, I will never be without Amazon Prime!!

Diamond is the best dog food for active strong dogs easy on there stomach and from what I see pretty tasty so even if you dog is picky I am sure they will like this food

Our Australian Shepherds really like this food. I typically purchase Taste of the Wild in a variety of flavors, for example Taste of the Wild Dry Dog Food, Pacific Stream Canine Formula with Smoked Salmon, 30-Pound Bag because they are also grain-free and the cost is reasonable. Grain-free dog food can cost up to $80 for a 28 lb bag at the pet store! I decided to try this Diamond kibble and I was pleased that our dogs had no problem switching. I now alternate this food with Taste of the Wild and Candidae’s grain free CANIDAE Grain Free Pure Elements with Fresh Lamb for Dogs. We tried Merrick’s Whole Earth Whole Earth Farms Grain Free Chicken and Turkey Recipe Dry Dog Food, 25-Pound but our dogs didn’t like it. I ordered another of Merrick’s flavors (Whole Earth Farms Pork, Beef & Lamb Recipe) though, as we have had great luck with that brand in the past. I will update this review after our dogs try that one.CURRENT TOP THREE FAVORITES FOR GRAIN-FREE, HIGH QUALITY, GOOD TASTING (dog approved) AND AFFORDABILITY:Taste of the WildDiamondCandidaeNOTE: Some veternarians (I am not one) will tell you that switching dog food isn’t a good idea but we’ve had great success alternating the three brands that I listed above. All are high quality, grain-free foods. I believe our dogs’ digestion and gut health are better for it.
