Sturdy, big and convenient hamster mansion! Highly recommended compared to wire cages!
Highly recommended for ALL hamsters. It’s super easy to put together but, requires at least 2 people (mostly to hold things up). Would recommend adding some wood glue for extra durability. Excellent value especially when comparing this to wire cages or “fun cages” with the tubes and such. Build quality can be so-so but overall good enough. IDEALLY, if you follow other hamster communities this is “too small” but again, in comparison to wired cages, this is a mansion for your hamster!DO NOT BUY A WIRE CAGE! I repeat, do not! Save time, money, heart ache and stress! Either get one of these or a large plastic tub/bin! Hamsters are little escape artist, climbers, diggers, etc. They will intentionally harm themselves trying to get out of a wire cage! This setup is the best for the safety and health of your hamster in comparison as they can and WILL hurt themselves in a wire cage.

Good size for a dwarf hamster but has flaws
I really like the size and look of this enclosure. So far, our dwarf robo has lived here for half a year with no issues. She is happy, chubby, and enjoys her different toys (bought separately). My issues with the enclosure are as follows:1. The lower panel can drop down for easy cleaning. However, there is a sizeable gap between that panel and the floor, such that paper bedding can be pushed out of the gap, littering your room’s floor. Feeds can also go through the gap. I’m questioning if this is hygienic as urine-soaked bedding can also fall off the gap.2. The wood panels are not water-repellent on the inside. It’s just plan raw wood that absorbs urine and feces sticks to it. It would be great if they sealed the inside with something that could repel water. It will take some time for the enclosure to smell gross if you use a lot of bedding. Otherwise, I can see this as a potential problem in the near future.3. The transparent parts of the enclosure needs to be more substantial, perhaps by using glass. It is made of acrylic/plastic and is easily deformed, scratched, etc.Apart from these complaints, the enclosure has worked great. These are petty complaints, and I do not expect perfection from a product in this price range.

Reccomend for mice, maybe not larger rodents
I bought this cage for my two gerbils. It was a bit of a pain to put together, but in the end its quite sturdy.Pros- youre able to put a decent amount of bedding inside- shelving underneath is great for storing extra bedding, food etc.-as of right now seems chew proof, as long as they have plenty of other things to chew on-love the multiple access points, great for cleaning-can fit a 10inch wheelCons- not exactly as big as id like for my gerbils, id recommend this for mice and dwarf hamsters mostly-the hinges for the opening top are quite squeaky-the platforms tilt slightly down, even when fully screwed inOverall id definitely recommend this cage for mice, dwarf hamsters and smaller animals! For gerbils, syrian hamster and others of the sort id recommend looking at pawhuts larger options !

Great Value
Easy to assemble. Trust me, if I can put it together you can too. All pieces came marked and the instructions were easy to follow.It’s a present so I don’t know how it will hold up once it’s in use because I haven’t given it yet, but it looks nice.

Horrible to put together. Pieces are cut wrong and don’t fit together right. Basically the cheapest of cheap for almost 100$.

flimsy wood, not worth the money
it came with all the pieces and was relatively simple to put together, but the wood is very thin and feels almost brittle. definitely not something that will last very long. the wood on the bottom is also the thinnest piece which is crazy considering that’s where all the mess that’ll ruin the wood is gonna be. i would not recommend just based on how much it costs, if it was cheaper (like half the price) then it would make a lot more sense and i might say buy it.

Perfect for a Hamster.
I absolutely love this cage. It fits in the spot that I put it in perfectly. The build quality is wonderful. I had a tad bit of issue putting it together, but that was my own thing. The size is perfect. It’s definitely worth the money and it’s easy to clean. I haven’t had an issue with it yet.

Not too bad
Did 4 stars because their customer service is quick and reasonable. Mine came with a few large splinters but the cage was still usable. It was a pain to put together, about an hour. They do not provide the little screw tool so make sure you have a screw driver. Directions are straight forward, for the tiny screws, there are no holes, you just have to screw it in and push. It’s cute and looks better than the wire cages.
