To calculate the required power for the aquarium heater, follow these steps:

Situations requiring a larger heater include no cover or near an external wall/door, room temp <65°F, and ≥15°F water temp increase.

Excellent aquarium heater with in cord controller!
This aquarium heater is awesome! It comes with very sturdy suction cups that make it difficult for my very active red eared slider turtle to dislodge from where I attached it (on the aquarium floor). I love the fact that it has a temperature indicator/controller built into the electric cord instead of on the heater itself. It works great and my turtle seems very content with it which makes me happy too!

Great heater
This heater is splendid. It fits perfectly in almost any tank, it’s only about a foot long. The suction cups haven’t moved since I placed it, so they’re very sticky. The heater functions perfectly constantly. It has run nonstop for a few months with no issue at all, so their longevity is good so far. Overall, great value for the price. I love Nicrew!

solid nano heater
My 7 gallon tank is in my basement. Ambient temp has been around 65. This heater has no trouble keeping the tank at 74. It does not run constantly. The temp reading on it is about 2 degrees lower than the thermometer that I have on the front of the tank though, so while this reads 72, the thermometer reads 74. Just beware of the actual temp and you can adjust this accordingly. It is very nice to be able to change the temp without reaching into the tank.

Nach 40 Jahren Aquaristik haben sich so einige Stabheizungen angesammelt. Ob Markenhersteller oder Noname haben sie alle eins gemeinsam. Zur Veränderung der Temperatur, Stecker ziehen und am oberen Einstellrädchen ins Becken greifen und hoffen das der eingestellte Wert dann auch passt. Ferner leuchtet das Kontolllicht im ständigen Wechsel ein und aus.Nachdem ich gesehen habe, wie hell teilweise diese Lichter sind, war zunächst eine Überlegung, die Fische nachts nicht durch an und aus zu stören. Aber in einer kalten Umgebung spring die Heizung fast permanent an und aus.Mit dem NICREW Heizer ist damit Schluss, aber das Wesentliche für dieses Gerät ist:Ein kurzer Heizstab, den ich quer ins Becken im Bodenbereich an die Scheibe klebe ( Saugnäpfe), was eine optimale Wärmeabgabe garantiert.Das lange Kabel zum Stecker hat im unteren Bereich den Sensor, der sich durch einfache Klicks der Tasten für Aufwärts oder Abwärts die Temperatur einfach einstellen lässt. Darüber hinaus wird permanent die Temperatur und durch Leuchtdioden der Status des Heizstabs angezeigt.Dadurch Veränderungen wie Wasserwechsel kann so problemlos der mögliche Temperaturunterschied kontrolliert werden.Das Gerät hat eine Mindesttemperatur von 15°C und funktioniert bei mir tadellos. Die Anzeige entspricht dem eines externen Termometers. Ich bin mit dieser Heizung total zufrieden und kann sie nach meinen Erfahrungen empfehlen.Inzwischen habe ich auch ein zweites Becken mit dem 100W Stab eingerichtet . Ebenfalls perfekt!Das Handling hat mich so begeistert, das die Beleuchtungen ebenfalls ausgetausch wurden und jetzt von aussen über Bluetooth feinfühling angepasst weden können….Technik die sich lohnt*****

achat pour aquarium 200 L, j’ai voulu faire un aquarium ouvert (sans couvercle) très beau mais le chauffage d’origine ne parvenait pas à monter à la bonne température, j’avais mis un ancien chauffage d’appoint et idem, il lui a fallu 1 jour pour 1 degré. J’ai acheté celui ci et là incroyable, il monte en température très rapidement et très pratique car il affiche la température vraiment super achat!!!
