Withstands very aggressive chewing
We have a very active and aggressive chewer. Items identified for aggressive chewers are “Gone in 60 Seconds”. This toy is amazing. It has withstood Jake’s many attempts to destroy it and is one of his favorites! It is not hard like acrylic but is hard rubber with some give decreasing risk of fractured teeth. Best toy yet!!!

This aggressive chewing toy for dogs (the alligator one—we named ours “Andy”) has been absolutely amazing! Our dogs are strong chewers and this has held up way better than most toys we’ve tried. It actually lasts a long time, which is why we’re on our second one only because they love it so much.They’re obsessed with it and it keeps them entertained for a long time. The material is durable and tough, but still fun for them to chew and carry around.Great quality and perfect for dogs who destroy most toys quickly—definitely worth it!

Not for super aggressive chewers
This is a super cute and sturdy chew. It held up for a little while but my dog is an aggressive chewer and he was able to pull off little pieces and swallow them. It became super rough and had a little point. It was fun for a short period, but not a long lasting toy

AMAZING. We have a super chewer dog. We have had this toy for over 6 months. It took a minute for our dog to get use to it but now he crews on it all the time. It’s still holding up. It will eventually make teeth marks on the head and tail. But it’s still has not been tore up. It’s heavy and hard, except the middle which will squeak. I would buy it again. 2 have 2. Prices good.

Update 08-11-2025 After two days the squeaker failed and the rubber nobs on the back of the toy started to chew off. This may be a great toy for your dog, for a dog like mine, there simply may not be a Squeaky toy build that will hold up.—Original Review was 5 Stars read below—I have a 90lb German Shepherd mix. He is a very strong chewer, but he just loves squeaky toys. Which at his current size is maybe 30-60 seconds of fun , then I have to throw them away because he’s ripped them apart. Which not only can cause intestinal blockage , but can cause choking. 10-20 bucks for a minute of fun that is also a potential safety issue isn’t realistic or smart.So far so good with this seashorse one, this is the first squeaky toy he’s had that he stopped playing with because he was done playing. After a good 10 minutes of heavy chewing and it’s still in tact.It’s surprising heavy, which makes me think the rubber is pretty dense. I am still not about to let him chew in this unsupervised, as he seems to be able to destroy even “indestructible” balls, but It’s definitely holding up, and he likes it. If it lasts a week I’ll be happy with the purchase. If anything changes I’ll update this post.

Was excited to try this toy, and it felt good quality. However our labradoodle pup chewed off and swallowed one of the legs in less than half an hour, with the talk also looking pretty rough. Our dog is pretty rough on toys but had hoped that this one would be stronger than most, who knew a labradoodle could out-chew the hardcore chew toys?!
