The birds love it, but is it worth the extra cost for delivery convenience vs box store prices?
We purchased the same CountryMax brand in the Premium bag and this Songbird blend at the same time to see if there was any difference in birds attracted to the seeds or the amount of trash seed in the bag that’s wasted. We had only been through one round using one seed in one feeder and the other seed in the other feeder and then we got ice on the ground so we can’t really tell which one is getting seed tossed out and wasted more than the other but the birds don’t seem to have a preference for one or the other either, they go to both feeders and eat from them all the time which is great! This seed has a great value for the money compared to other brands that fill their bag with filler trash seeds that the birds don’t eat. The convenience of getting this delivered home vs buying from a local box store for a little less per bag is worth it. Longevity tests will tell which blend is better!

Great seeds
Excellent mixture of seeds and very well packaged.

Ok
It’s ok. Too much corn in the mix for the kind of birds I feed but the other seeds are getting eaten.

Wild Bird Seed
Smelled like a barn. That’s okay. 50lb bag was too heavy for me to handle.

Should Not be called “Premium” !
I buy a lot of birdseed. I was unable to leave the house (health reasons) so I bought this seed. Absolutely the worst seed. Seems like 75 to 80 % cracked corn. If I had chickens or ducks that might not be so bad. But I am just feeding the wild birds. Even the Mourning Doves don’t eat the cracked corn. Problem #2, it is extremely dusty. I will not be buying this brand again. It was however a great price, but I guess “You get what you pay for”.

Works Very Well
This is very popular with the birds and squirrels.
