Love how easy this was to use
Got this for my daughter’s fish tank! It works amazing and now her fish is out summing a lot more because he has 80 degree water. Easy set up, easy to read instructions. Easy to use

Perfect for 3 gallon betta tank.
Arrived quicker than expected. Working great. Appreciate the digital display, which seems pretty accurate. Good heater at a great price. Thanks!

Dangerously inaccurate
Just awful! I wanted this to work so bad bc it’s small and also has a digital thermometer and setter… but it’s so inaccurate I could’ve killed my fish had I not used a second thermometer to test it. I bought it for my main tank but was first using this for a water change to heat the new water to temperature match existing water so as to not show my fish. It was off my like 5 degrees. I even left it overnight in case just needed more time (even though it was reading the water was 80 when it was actually like 74!!!! I’m currently using two small heaters to heat my 5 gallon tank to a consistent 80 degrees- my Halo likes his water warm, but I can’t find a small heater that I can safely set the temp higher than 78. I guess I’ll keep looking. Thank God I tested it first!

TEMPERTURE CONTROL
WORKS OK BUT DON’T UNDERSTAND WHY IT ONLY HAS THE ONE BUTTON TO CONTROL THE TEMPERATURE, YOU HAVE TO GO ALL THE WAY UP TO THE TOP TEMPERATURE, THEN IT WILL GO TO THE LOWIST AND GO UP. WOULD IT COST THAT MUCH TO HAVE SEPERATE BOTTONS ONE TO MOVE UP, ONE TO MOVE DOWN

A long way from the glass heaters from days of old…
The QZQ 25 Watt Aquarium Heater is a compact (1.42 inches by 5 inches), super light weight, submersible heater designed for 3 – 5 gallon tropical fish and turtle aquariums. It features an explosion proof quartz rod, which is surrounded by a heat resistant ABS plastic safety guard, that attaches to the tank using two included suction cups. It offers precise digital temperature control (59°F – 93°F), with an overheat protection that automatically shuts off when temperatures are above 93°F, and it has memory that restores the last temperature setting after power outages. Furthermore, the controller will start beeping if the tank temperature rises above 95. The 4.92 foot power cord terminates in a standard two prong USA wall plug and includes an attached LED display that provides the current temperature and the set temperature. Please note that there is a protective piece of plastic over the LED display.Overall, the QZQ 25 Watt Aquarium Heater is a huge upgrade from older glass heaters I own. This is super easy to use, durable, digital, and designed with safety in mind. Plus, it is attractive. We use to try to hide the old glass heaters behind plants and mopani wood, yet this heater looks like a cool piece of tech in the back of the tank. Price point is in line with other 25W heaters on the market and the company offers six different wattages ranging from 25 watts to 500. So far, the heater works as advertised and I love it. Five stars.

Exactly as listed
Item: QZQ Aquarium Heater, 25W Adjustable Fish Tank HeaterThe recommended amount per gallon is about 5 watts. That should reliably heat up your tank up to 5 – 10 degrees above room temperature. If you keep the temperature of your house close to the temperature you want your tank, then you can use a smaller heater in a larger aquarium. This heater would easily work for tank up to about 10 gallons if you are keeping your house temperature within 5 degrees.I tried this heater for a while and my 10 gallon aquarium. It worked just fine and kept the temperatures stable. I thought about using this heater in my 3GALLON Aquarium but the heater was just too big for the tank. It took up a large portion. I don’t really think that this heater is appropriate for 3 to 5 gallon tanks if you keep your house within 5 degrees of the tank temperature mainly due to the size of the heating element. The element is just too big to really fit in a 3 to 5 gallon tank and leave room for plants and decorations etc. However, that has zero impact on the functionality. This heater works just fine.Overall, this heater works perfectly and I have no problem using it in a 10GALLON tank. Again, it’s just too big for a three to 5 gallon tank. Priced at around $15, the price is decent for 25 Watt heater.
