ULTRA SMALL SIZE – This aquarium heater is incredibly compact, measuring just over half the length of traditional fish heaters! Its innovative design solves the problem of bulky aquarium heaters, taking up less space while still providing powerful heating capabilities.
ACCURATE EXTERNAL THERMOSTAT – The built-in chips ensure precise temperature control with an accuracy of 1F. This is far more precise than the traditional knob-controlled heaters. The digital display on the external thermostat provides 2 readings – the current temperature and the desired temperature – making it incredibly user-friendly.
INVERTER TECHNOLOGY – This fish tank heater uses advanced inverter technology to heat water faster and more efficiently. It maintains a constant temperature and has a longer lifespan.
INTELLIGENT SENSORS – The turtle heater will automatically shut off if the water level is too low (DRY-RUN) or if the water temperature exceeds 97F (OVERHEAT). Additionally, the heater features a MEMORY FUNCTION that retains the last setting in case of a power outage. Say goodbye to the risk of “cooking” your fish!
HIGH-QUALITY MATERIALS – This fish heater is constructed with durable nickel-chromium heating wire and highly heat-conductive sand. It is encased in a shatter-proof quartz glass tube, ensuring exceptional reliability and durability. Silicone protectors on both ends prevent any accidental damage to the fish tank glass.

Warming the water in my hydroponic planters during cold months.
Doing what I can to try to keep the cost of my utilities under control, during the cold months I keep my thermostat set at 60 degrees. While I can put on additional layers of clothing, that is simply too cold for the plants in my hydroponic planters to survive. So, I hoped that using a small fish tank heater would provide sufficient warming for my veggies to be able to thrive year around (the planter on the left was started about 4 weeks ago, but the one on the right was just planted today so it’s just getting started). Note: the net pots need to be deep enough so that the roots are reaching the warmth, however I find that using these heaters in my tower style planter is a better option, as the warmed water bathes the plants on a regular schedule of 15 minutes on/15 minutes off, which completely resolves the issue of the PVC tubing of the planter being cold. These do a great job while consuming very little power, and I particularly liked the design of this product in part because it can be placed horizontally at the bottom of the planter basin. To my surprise, while the planters are plastic rather than glass, the suction cups still keep the heater securely centered, and with the help of a bubbler the water is kept uniformly at the temperature that I set it to.The settings are super easy to use, and this was the perfect choice for me to be able to continue successfully growing veggies through the cold winter months! I have two of the 15w and one 25w model, which is used in a 5-gallon DWC bucket style planter. Happy plants = happy me!Being reasonably priced and consuming very little power while getting the job done, I specifically recommend this product to others who want to successfully grow indoors using hydroponic planters, during the cold months.

    Heats tank fast
Excellent little heater, works fast and doesn’t take up much space in my tank, my Betty’s love to hide behind it when planning an attack on one of the other 5 tank mates. I highly recommend this little powerhouse (100 watt) heater.

Sturdy. I have a couple of the 50W and a couple of the 25W. I’ve had the oldest ones 3 years. The temp on the display is off by a couple of degrees on each of them. But they’re consistent and they hold temp well so it doesn’t really matter if the display says 80 and the tank thermometer says 77. (Hmm, all my tanks’ thermometers are identical so maybe they’re all off. 🤷) Happy with the heaters. Great value IMO.

    So far so good
Works great for my 10gal tank. It’s a small size easy to blend in or away. I put it above my bubbler and my guppies seem to always love it habit out and riding the bubbles 🙂

    Good size for small tank
For the price of this heater I think it’s a great buy. I live in south Florida and I use this 5 watt mini heater in my 8 gallon aquarium and it works great. I had Sen temp fluctuations between 1-2 degrees but it’s usually at set temp

    Quality is VERY inconsistent.
I was setting up 3x new shrimp tanks and these heaters caught my eye due to the compact nature of the heater along with the dual display containing both the thermostat and the current temperature. When I received the three, I set up the tanks (all three were set up side-by-side using the same exact materials within). I set all three to heat to 73 degrees. Almost immediately after set-up, two read 73, but the last one read 78. I own an instant-read thermometer that I use for cooking that I used to confirm what I already knew: that one was a dud and the temp of the water was 73ish degrees.Since I have Prime, it wasn’t a big deal as I just exchanged it. When I received the replacement, it was also a dud reading 76-78. No wanting to give up since the other two seemed to be working and because I liked the compact design, I had Amazon replace it again. It all seemed well and fine until last week when one of the two original heaters started reading 80 degrees. I KNOW for a fact it was a dud because I happened to be in the room when the temperature literally rose from 73 to 80 within 2 minutes time.I really can’t recommend these heaters as they are remarkably inconsistent/faulty. I hope this review helps someone out there steer clear of these things.

Internal temperature gauge is terribly off
Editing my review to 4 stars just because of customer service, they take accountability for their products faults. The internal temperature gauge consistently reads several degrees higher than what the water actually is. This makes it so that you have to turn the heater temp up much higher than you actually need it which gives me anxiety because if it suddenly starts reading the temp correctly and heats up too far it’ll kill my shrimps. My tank is only 2 gallons so this should work fine for it. Unfortunately this is the only heater with low watts that I’ve found with a longer cord.

Okay for First Time Buy, but Not Amazing
Would I buy this heater again? I would probably try a different brand or model next time, not because this one is bad, but because it did not really stand out. This was my first aquarium heater, and overall the experience has been okay. If you are buying a heater for the first time, this is a decent option. The main issue is temperature accuracy. The temperature shown on the display does not exactly match my other measurements and can be off by around 2°C or 3 to 4°F. That said, it is also possible that my external thermometer is not perfectly accurate either. I even compared both with a third measurement and noticed that all three showed slightly different values. So in the end, none of them may be accurate. What matters to me is that the heater keeps the water temperature consistent throughout the day Even if the reading is Wrong by a few degrees. If you use a separate thermometer, you can adjust the setting to get the real temperature you want even if the display shows something different. Build quality feels cheap (Which is to be expected for a product In this price range) one segment of the display already stopped working in less than a month, and it is bigger than it looks in the photos, especially Noticeable in a small tank. The cable is a bit short. On the positive side, I do like the external and adjustable temperature control. It is not a wow product, but it does its main job well by keeping the water temperature stable.
