This works VERY well for our crazy Vizsla!
We have a 47 lb Vizsla who has a severe jumping problem. We tried everything, but nothing helped. I’m against using a shock collar, so this collar only having tone and vibrate, fit exactly what I was looking for. It works like a charm! Now I only have to show him the remote, and he won’t jump, and most of the time, we don’t even need to use vibrate, only the tone. At first, I was worried that the buckle might break, as it’s not real heavy duty, but so far it hasn’t. The extra length of the collar was scratchy on the end and I was worried it would irritate my dog’s skin and he has very short hair and no undercoat and the collar was too long, so it wouldn’t stay tucked under, so I cut off the extra length, only leaving a few inches. The end where I made the cut was still rough and since I cut it, it frayed, so I lightly heated the cut end with the flame of a lighter, which makes the collar webbing melt a little, and while it was still warm, I smooshed the rough edge with my fingers to smooth it. That did the trick! The battery lasts at least a week before having to charge it overnight. Great product for our needs! I don’t know if it would work as well for a really large dog that has a thick, heavy coat of fur, and pulls a lot, as I’d be worried that the buckle might break, and the dog may not feel the vibration as much, but at first, I had my dog wear this collar along with his regular collar and just clipped his leash to his regular collar, so that I could still use the tone and vibrate of this collar, without the fear that my dog might break the buckle if he pulled a lot. Once I was fairly certain that this collar’s buckle would hold up to his pulling, now he usually just wears this collar both in the house and on walks. Great product and I just ordered another one today for my son’s dog, who is a Great Dane/Pit/Lab mix with very thick fur. We shall see, but for our dog, this has been a great product!

Worth it
Works great. Have a deaf puppy and use it to get her attention when she’s not looking at us and helped with training. There is no shock only vibrates and only have to charge it about once a week the collar and the remote last about 2 weeks without having to charge.

I have a 10lb Cavapoo 6months. He suddenly became a barker at every thing. Airplanes, birds, neighbors, squirrels, you name it and he’s constantly barking. This remote bark collar is exactly what we needed. The collar is adjustable to fit his little neck and works perfectly!! Highly recommended it!!

Great coller if you don’t want to use a shock collar for correction.
Couldn’t be any more perfect. I did not want to go with a shock collar. The vibrations and tones work great with my dog. She responds immediately just with the low volume beeps. Never tested the distance from remote but she has been 100′ away and it works great. It gets wet and muddy all the time and still works great. I may charge it every two months or so. Only one down fall is that when the battery gets low on her collar, the actual collar beeps and whatever she is doing at that time ( could be sleeping) she thinks she did something wrong and moved from where she was at. So I try to always charge it before that happens. I have had this for over a year and it still does great. I use this to stop her from chasing cats and killing my chickens.

Our dog quit reacting to this collar so we got a different brand.
My big revision for this review. Our pup was no longer reacting to this collar after 2-3 months of use. We bought a shock collar and we have only used the shock mode twice. The tone and vibration are MUCH more effective on the new collar. I don’t know what the real difference is between these 2 brands but I no can longer recommend this collar! We may have receive a defective remote.We really like this collar for our puppy! As others have said, it is way too long, so I had doubled up the slack and have slipped the loop under a heavy duty rubber band. This rubber band is not tight against his neck, so there is no real contact with his skin and the rubber band.I almost sent this back as it quit working! The channel was changed accidentally. It has to be on Channel 1 to work! It’s dead on the other 2 channels. It’s not supposed to be, so it could be a fluke with ours. I tried it on my wrist at first to see how the vibration was. The 01 setting will get your attention!! Follow the instructions!!This has been a game changer for us. Our pup so much more behaved. We now hardly use this collar but it stays on him. I use the Tone first, if needed. I move to the combination, if needed. When we do use it, the Tone is usually sufficient. Always say the command as you activate the button you choose.I’m getting a treat bag tomorrow. I will be using the Clicker with a food reward for correct potting outside. I think this will speed up the potty training!

Use this training aid properly.
This works very well to train young pups. We have taught our dog not to jump up on people and on counters in the kitchen. But read the small manual before you start using this training aid.

4 star to 1 star in 2 weeks…
First order showed up and when I opened the box, it smelled like someone else’s dogs. The collars were filthy and clearly had been used. Not the manufacturers problem. Just another typical Amazon issue.Received the new collars. They all 3 originally worked fine. Switching between them is a hassle when you’re trying to buzz a specific dog. The real issue is after 2 weeks, the remote won’t switch between the 3 collars. It’s now stuck on 1 so I have to determine which one of my pups might be the one who needs it most at the moment.Don’t recommend.

Fits the mini educator and length is good for my large Goldendoodle. For the price, it is pretty okay. I wasn’t paying attention and didn’t realize the orange collar has a standard buckle more like a belt so order accordingly. The 4 stars is more like 3.5 for the quality.The orange one seems sturdy and is coated in what I think is waterproof material, if it had a snapping buckle it would be perfect. If this works for you I’d say order it.The pink one (cloth material) is quite flimsy and will definitely wear quickly if it gets wet. the tail of the collar also feels like it’s could possible pull out of the collar as it’s not really fastened and just held by a small plastic piece. The buckle feels cheap, but that’s because it’s a cheap collar so hey I can complain too much. If you want something sturdier with a different buckle, I’d say just spend the extra few dollars, but this will do for now.
