This thing is smooth, whisper quiet, solid and stable and works great. Not the cheapest one, but by far the best one we’ve had for “Spud” the hamster. Would definitely get this one again

Decent little hamster wheel.
No big issues. Works as intended. After a few weeks it starts to get loud at night. Use a bit of wax on the stem and it will become quiet again. My hamster loves it.

First wheel was great-second wheel was awful!!
The first time I bought this wheel, it was great – still is. But then I bought a second one for my second hamster and it’s awful. It’s hard to spin and squeaks sooooo bad. Instead of a nut in the middle like the first wheel I received had, it has a tube like piece of plastic and it does NOT work. I should have returned it but my hamster had already used it before I figured out it was garbage. Now it’s going in the trash and I am buying a different brand wheel.

Can’t keep bedding dust or pee off the wheel bearings
Worked great at first but once dust from bedding and pee from your hamster finds its way behind the knob where the bearings are, it will not turn freely. I would wipe down the wheel to clean it without immersing it in water to keep it lubricated but I couldn’t do anything about bedding dust or when our hamster pees while she runs. Seems a shame there isn’t a better covering system to keep the bearings from getting dirty and no longer rolling.

Silent!!
This thing is so quiet I assumed my hamster wasn’t using it until I went to clean her cage and saw dust from her sand bin on it and then I finallySaw her on it myself. It is completely silent and considering I keep her cage in my bedroom, this is exactly what I was looking for! Definitely worth it!
