This kit comes with everything you need. I used to dread cleaning my tank with a manual siphon, but this electric cleaner is a game-changer; I love the corner nozzle brush for getting algae off the glass and the gravel vacuum works perfectly without sucking up all my substrate. The 30W motor is powerful but quiet. It works just as well in my saltwater setup as it does in my freshwater tank. The 480 GPH pump has great suction power and makes water changes a breeze. It was easy to assemble, and the different nozzles actually get into the corners where debris hides. Definitely worth the investment for a cleaner tank. If you have a larger tank, you need this.

Makes tank cleaning and water changes so much easier.
I’ve been using this electric siphon regularly for my turtle tank, and it’s easily the most useful tank-cleaning tool I’ve owned. Red-eared sliders are messy, and this handles both substrate cleaning and water changes far better than manual siphons or battery-powered cleaners. The motor is powerful enough to pull waste out of sand and gravel without stripping the substrate, especially once you dial in the flow control. Being able to drain and refill without lifting heavy buckets has been a huge improvement.The interchangeable attachments are genuinely useful, not just extras. I mostly use the gravel hood and corner nozzle to clean under rocks and along the glass, and the algae brush. I’ve even use it to move water back into the tank during refills. Setup takes a little time at first because there are a lot of pieces, but once you learn which attachments you actually need, it’s pretty straightforward.The build quality feels solid for a plastic unit, and the corded design gives it much stronger and more consistent suction than battery-powered models I’ve tried. Overall, this is a great choice for larger tanks, turtle setups, or anyone who wants a powerful, hands-on cleaning tool that actually moves water efficiently and makes maintenance easier.

Complex, Multifunctional, Complicated, and a bit short
Well, I can definitely see how this piece would be helpful to some people, it was not helpful for my situation.The biggest problem is the length of the hose, which is too short to reach a bucket on the ground.If the tallest point of your aquarium is more than 5.5 feet or so. Additionally the hose is stiff and bent; trying to get it to maintain its position is difficult at some points.That being said, this item is multifunctional. As echoed by other users, however, the instructions are not easy to understand, largely due to the pictures. I cannot say that I would recommend this very highly compared to other options on the market at this time.

Seems alright
This has a bit of a learning curve but once you get the hang of it, it works well. The instructions are not bad and are pretty easy to follow. Suction is a bit much and will suck up sand and small gravel but works great for larger stone substright and bare bottom tanks. The design is good, and it holds up well. I accidently dropped it and there was no damage seen.
