This is a great litter box! It has everything you need for a great price. It’s big, stainless steel so easy to clean and has a charcoal filter that helps controls the smell. We switched from a plastic litter box so glad we did.

Great Upgrade from Plastic Litter Boxes!
I love the sleek look of this stainless steel litter box for our cats. The biggest advantage for me is how easy it is to clean—no more litter sticking like it does with the older plastic style. It’s a perfect size, was simple to assemble, and the depth feels standard for this type of box.We’ve just started using it, so I can’t speak to leakage yet. That was a problem with our old box because our girls tend to pee by the door, and it would leak onto the litter mat. I’m hopeful that the tracking pad inside the door will help prevent that so far so good after a few days use.Overall, it feels like good quality for the money, and I’m really happy with this purchase so far!

Good quality at a reasonable price
Just got this a few days ago to replace an old stinky plastic box. It’s good quality for the price. Well designed and much easier to clean and refill than the one I previously had. I like the black because it just fits better in my decor than a gray or beige box. My cats seem to like it since it’s bigger and stays cleaner smelling. Especially my female kitty who’s a very fussy girl. So far I’m very pleased with this purchase.

It’s only been a few days but I love it more than the plastic one I had. Quality is great. Size is great. Mess is a lot more controlled. But giving 4 stars instead of 5 bc when she comes out the top.. only a little bit of litter goes everywhere. Cleaning is easier too.

Great Box for a Good Price
Very happy with this litter box! The size is very spacious on the inside but doesn’t seem to take up too much space in the room. It was super easy to assemble and feels very sturdy. The stainless steel has also been super easy to clean so far. I’ve had issues with previous boxes leaking if my cats peed in the corner – have NOT had that issue with this box!

Excellent, with a few minor caveats
I wasn’t sure if I should believe the hype about this litter box, but I’m now a believer and my kitty appreciates her new metal litter box. This was also the best priced stainless steel litter box in such a large size when I bought it. It’s easy to clean and is managing the smell so far. A couple of minor points to be aware of: 1) The holes in the plastic scoop are large and it’s a pain to clean the small clumps out of the litter. 2) The plastic scoop is prone to getting dirty, especially in comparison to the stainless steel. 3) The orange buttons on the top lid are finicky and you need to double check to make sure the latches engaged fully, or the lid will easily dislodge with the slightest force.

Odor control is amazing
These are by far the best litter boxes I have ever purchased. I have 3 babies and I bought two of the extra large. I wanted to get the automatic one but was afraid they wouldn’t use it. I purchased these to get rid of the yucky plastic ones that stunk all the time no matter how many times I cleaned them. The odor control is amazing along with the clumping. No more wasting litter and so easy to clean.

I have been using this extra large stainless steel litter box with the lid for a little over a month now, and it has basically replaced my old plastic setup for good. I bought it for two reasons: my cat is a kicker that can launch litter over a normal wall, and my dog is the type that thinks the litter box is a snack bar if it is easy to access.The first few days were honestly kind of funny because my cat had to “learn the route”: in through the front, out the top. Once it clicked, it made sense right away for my cat. The front entry keeps the mess contained, and the top exit forces a little paw wipe moment on the way out, especially with the included step and mat. I also like that it is enclosed without feeling cramped; the high sides actually do something, not just for show, and the lid fits securely so it does not rattle around every time the cat moves.The stainless steel part is the real win, and this is where I get picky and technical. With plastic boxes I always end up with that permanent smell that never really goes away, plus little scratches that hold onto grime. With this one, when I do a full clean, I can dump it, rinse it, wipe it down, and it actually feels clean again instead of “clean-ish.” I also tested the leak situation because I have had a bad experience before: I put a bit of water in the bottom to see if anything seeped or dripped, and it stayed solid. Day to day, clumps release easier too, so I am not scraping like I am sanding drywall.Nothing major to complain about, but there are a couple things to be aware of. It is heavier than a plastic pan, so carrying it to the trash or bathtub is a two-hand job. Also, stainless can be a bit loud if your cat is an aggressive digger; mine sometimes does that dramatic scratch session and you hear it more than you would with plastic. The top exit design also means you need some vertical clearance, so if you were planning to shove it under a low shelf, measure first.Still, this is an easy 5 star for me. It fixed the tracking and splatter mess, it made cleaning way less gross, and it finally made the litter box “dog proof” enough that I do not have to police it all day. If your cat is big or you have a dog in the house, this style is one of those upgrades that feels expensive at first, then quickly feels worth it.

I finally decided to upgrade to this stainless steel setup, and it’s been a total game-changer for my “high-sprayer.” Since the tray is non-porous metal, it doesn’t absorb odors or get those deep scratches where bacteria usually hides.The sheer size of this thing is impressive—at 23.6 inches long, even my largest cat has plenty of room to turn around and dig without feeling cramped. I opted for the fully enclosed mode because my dog thinks the litter box is a snack bar, and the lockable latch has officially put an end to that. Plus, the seamless overlap between the high walls and the tray means I don’t have to worry about urine leaking out onto the floor if my cat decides to aim high.The kit came with everything I actually needed, including a carbon filter that does a great job of neutralizing smells and a mat that actually catches the stray grains of litter. I also really appreciate the step board; it makes it much easier for my older cat to get in and out without a struggle. It’s a sturdy, “set it and forget it” system that looks a lot cleaner and keeps the house smelling way better than the old plastic bins ever did.

This Tevila extra large stainless steel litter box has been a great upgrade from plastic—very sturdy, leak-proof, and incredibly easy to clean with no lingering odors. The high-sided enclosed design with front entry and top exit works perfectly to keep litter contained and completely dog-proof, while still being comfortable for my cat to use. I really like the included step and scoop, and the metal pan doesn’t absorb smells or scratches at all. A well-designed, hygienic, and worth it for a cleaner, fresher litter area!

I absolutely love this extra large stainless steel litter box with lid. Stainless steel is far easier to clean than plastic, doesn’t trap odors, and feels like a much better option overall for both cats and humans.This box is huge, which is essential for my cat. He’s a big guy (16 pounds and 21 inches nose to bum), and he finally has enough room to turn, dig, and move comfortably while doing his business. My fur kid was excited to use this right out of the box!!!I also like the flexibility of the design. You can use it fully covered, but my cat prefers just the high walls, so he can look around without feeling boxed in. The stainless steel base is solid and sturdy, not flimsy at all, and the plastic walls feel well made. Also, it comes with a little step to give him a boost as he’s heading inside!The tray is deep enough for proper digging, and the wall height gives him privacy without restricting movement.* it does need filters but the seller doesn’t advertise any – BUT since we don’t use the lid, we’re all good.I highly recommend a stainless steel litter box to any cat owner, especially if you have a larger cat—it’s a noticeable upgrade in everyday use. Just be warned, it takes a lot of litter so be prepared!

We currently have a modified plastic tote as our main litter box in the house. We have 4 cats, one of which is round and she needs a lot of space to turn around, so she was the main reason behind that. The problem with that and one of the selling features of stainless steel is that it absorbs odour. It doesn’t matter how much you wash it.I ordered this litter box because not only is it stainless steel and resistant to odour but it’s big. Almost the same size as the tote.The litter box comes in a box and you just have to pop it all together. The main lid, the top lid and then the pads on the bottom. The pads are important because they keep it from sliding but also keep the sound in check.This litter box is nice and big and our biggest cats can in fact turn around in it. I think they’d like it a bit bigger width-wise but this works.So far it’s all good but, for our kitties at least, we had to compromise or scale it down.I noticed that they don’t like to stop on the step. In fact one of them tried to jump over the side to avoid it. Which brings me to the sides. The main sides are fine but the dome seemed to reduce the inner size so we removed it and just have the sides. With the step and the dome gone, it’s working fine for our fur family and we’re happy with it.I’m giving this litter box 5 stars. I know it’s kind of a waste to have so many parts un-used but cats are like people and they all have preferences. If you have normal sized cats or cats who like enclosed litter boxes, they’ll probably love it with all the parts.
