Cool tank and looks good as well. Comes just as described. Perfect size for a small table or if you want to put it on a dresser beside other things. Has a lot of extras that are very helpful if you never set a tank up before. Excited to get it going and see the full potential of it

Good value starter nano betta tank
I’ve been wanting to do a small nano type tank and thought this would be a good start. The kit comes with nearly everything you need to get started but I had to buy a heater and air pump/bubbler in addition. The tank itself appears well built and the glass is super clear. The filtering section is built inside the tank so I don’t believe this is technically 3.5gal of swimming space but is a decent size for nano fish or a betta. It was easy to set up despite unclear installation instructions (mainly just pictures as directions) because I have experience with aquariums as I have a 90 gal. So I understand the process of how filtering should work. It comes with a fair amount of black gravel but I feel like it could use just a tad more if you want to have plants so there is enough depth for planting. The light for the tank is sufficient but it’s more of a spotlight versus lighting the space of the tank. The lid is plastic and has already warped after being set up for 6 weeks. One downside is the water seems to evaporate rather quickly which puts it below the filtering level needed to cycle through the system. If you are not vigilant in watching the water level on the filter side to keep it flowing thru then it can stop the nitrogen cycle and kill off your good bacteria needed for a healthy tank to support your fish. One other annoyance is the advertising sticker on the left side of the tank. It hides the filter section from view but could do without the Branding from the manufacturer.Overall, this is a good value starter kit for the money.

Works well but has some issues.
I have tried several different types of these aquarium kits and being an aquarium hobbyist for many years I have seen many different types of products.This one is nice because it comes with everything you need to be up and running within 15-30 minutes.I did have some trouble trying to figure out how the pump works and after reading another review and watching a video I was able to figure it out. This didn’t come with instructions on how to setup the pump. You have to attach the tube to the pump and insert it into the open area and then attach the tube to the black plastic piece coming out the right side. I am not a fan of the pump and filter configuration because it makes it harder to clean. The filter does work well though once it is going.I like the size of the tank and it does look nice. I don’t like the words printed on the front though.The light works well and would be good for fish and live plants. I always recommend living plants because they help keep the tank clean and the fish healthy by eating the waste of the fish. The bigger issue with tanks failing though is usually over feeding. Feed only what they can consume in two minutes.I don’t know if I would recommend this setup though because I have reviewed better ones.

🐠 Cute little starter tank for one betta
I chose this tank for my grandkids because a friend of mine had a betta fish for years, and when the kids were little they loved sitting and watching that beautiful fish swim around. We haven’t set this one up yet because we’re still reading up on betta care, so this is really based on my first impression of the tank and what comes with it.So far, I think it’s a really cute little setup. The tank is compact enough for a desk, dresser, or countertop, but it still looks big enough to make one fish easy to enjoy watching. The glass looks nice and clear, and I like that it comes as more of a full starter kit instead of just being an empty tank. Having the light, filter parts, lid, little plant, sand, and other extras included makes it feel much more convenient for beginners.One thing I would say is that this seems better for two bettas, not 3 or 4. From everything I’ve read, bettas can be aggressive, if that is so I’d rather give one fish plenty of room than risk putting more together in a small tank. For that reason, I think this is best for older kids with adult help, or for adults who want a small decorative aquarium and understand that even a little tank still needs regular care.Compared to some small tanks sold in pet stores, this one seems appealing because it includes more of the basics in one package and has a nice look to it.
