Cute and compact mini fish tank
This mini fish tank is small but really cute and fun to have on a desk or table. The design is nice and the built-in LED lights add a colorful touch that makes it more interesting to watch. Perfect Portable Fish Tank for Fishing Trips!
I wasn’t expecting much from a tiny tank, but this little guy surprised me! It’s super easy to carry around for trips to the lake, beach, or even just chilling in the backyard.The air pump keeps the water oxygenated, and the LED lights that change colors automatically are so cool—makes it feel a little magical at night. Setup is easy, and the tank feels pretty sturdy for something so small.Just a heads-up, it’s tiny, so it’s really only good for very small fish or short-term use. But honestly, it’s super fun and adds a little splash of life anywhere you go.

Well-made and innovative, but somewhat limited
Playing with this portable tank has, I admit, been fun. If you actually count this as an aquarium, this will make 12.There is an important caveat for the practical use of this mini-tank, 0.3Gal is not enough room to house a fish for long. Even a nerite snail would struggle to live long in this amount of water.Why? The smaller the volume of water, the more concentrated the parameters. Goldfish, which I imagine would be a starter fish for children, are actually one of the messiest fish. They will spike ammonia quickly, so water changes will be almost constant. Even a beta would have difficulty in this volume. Additionally, for the case of a beta, they have air lungs, so they need access to the water surface without obstacle. The white grid will need to be above the water level for a beta.Is this unusable? Absolutely not. I already have several ideas for this aquarium, and the rechargeable air-pump further increases the use cases. 1. I plan to use this for determining the sex of guppy fry. The small size will make it easier to photograph and review. 2. I plan to take this with me to the local fish store (or big box) and seeing if they’re comfortable just putting the fish into this portable aquarium. My assumption is that providing an air stone will reduce the stress.Colored LEDs are not a selling point for me, so though I have played with this feature, I do not use it. It’s my opinion colorful lights will stress the fish. The battery seemed good during my tests. For the length I personally would keep an animal in this tank, the battery is more than enough.The durability of the mini tank is good. The touch-buttons to toggle the power and the lights are very subtle, somewhat blending in to the surface art. The plastic will scratch unless you treat it with care. I love the handle, I feel like I’m taking my fish on a walk. Weight is perfect for small children to manage on their own. Charging was easy and the USB-C port was flush enough to use some pretty small power banks with a pop out USB.Why did I rate 4/5?+1 The product claims are fair on the technical features+1 Construction and Durability are fair+1 Functional (air pump and LEDs function)+1 Pricing/Value is fair since you’re getting the integrated air pump and associated electronics.+0 Usability. The volume is better suited for a temp tank, not a primary tank. Depending on the fish, it might even be too small for a hospital tank.I like the value, I LOVE the idea. If I could snag one of these at 1Gal (I know weight will increase) I might consider this a temporary home.*BONUS*If you’re not using this mini-tank for an occupant, and you have another aquarium that needs short-term oxygenation, you should be able to work in a longer air-hose and keep your fish a little bit safer.

Very nice
I really like this mini fish tank. It is small, lightweight, and perfect for travel. The rechargeable battery and air pump work well, and the colorful LED lights make it look very nice. Great for short trips or temporary use.

This isn’t worth all the hype. Cheap handle & lid won’t stay on
Ya know when something arrives with rattling sounds that it means you’re about to be disappointed. The handle is so cheap it came off during shipping. I finally repaired it and I can tell you it won’t hold up under the weight of the tank with water and then the heavy top. The handle is so short the shark on top gets in the way of carrying it and makes it top heavy. The top is bulky and heavy. It has no latch, no secure way to make sure it stays on. I’m not sure why there’s a hole in the top when you can view the contents from all around its clear acrylic structure. The hole in the lid causes splashes when carried. I had to tape over the hole and tape the lid down all around the bucket for my child. Then I had to replace the handle with a sturdier piece of nylon strap. It doesn’t last long with a charge. I would suggest not using the light to conserve battery power for the oxygen pump. It’s a great idea just not implemented to function properly. It look cute but it’s quality isn’t there for the cost. My child has decided to take off bubbler and use it as a worm bucket lol.
