Quick Removal is the key, and this Quality Made in France (not China) kit worked like a charm
At 63 years old, I’ve never seen as many ticks as in the last two years. More ticks in the past couple of seasons than in my entire lifetime combined. The tiny deer ticks (blacklegged ticks) are especially concerning because they’re the ones that can carry Lyme disease.I knew I needed something that actually worked for quick, clean removal—especially on those small ones that can be hard to grab. After trying several other methods and tools that were messy, incomplete, or just didn’t work well, I finally picked up this tick puller kit made in France (not the cheap China junk).What a difference. The first deer tick my dog picked up after the kit arrived came out so effortlessly it was almost unbelievable. No squeezing, no leaving the head behind, no drama.It’s incredibly simple to use:Simply choose the appropriately sized tool, hook it in under the tick, use your fingers to spin the tool and pull gently—and the whole tick comes right out intact.Quick removal is the key. The risk of contracting Lyme disease from a deer tick bite is generally low—often around 1–3% in endemic areas, and rarely exceeds 10% even if the tick is infected. Most importantly, transmission usually requires the tick to be attached for 36–48 hours or more. Getting it off fast (ideally under 24 hours) makes a huge difference in lowering the risk.This tool does exactly that. It works like a charm on all sizes, including the tiny nymphs, and it doesn’t crush the tick’s body (which can increase the chance of pushing pathogens into the bite). It’s well-made, sturdy, and feels like a quality tool.If you’re dealing with ticks more than you used to (like so many of us these days), do yourself a favor and get this kit. Great tick remover tool!
Works very easy and does job well. I have used several different types of tick removers, and this one is by far the best. I Live on the outskirts of a national park and sometimes the ticks are terrible. When I use this tool I also use a magnifier with a light that goes on your head and that makes it very easy to do a good job with this tool. I highly recommend this if you spend time outdoors like Hiking or camping.

It’s small, but works well. Doesn’t matter what color you choose they send random color. I choose a color they sent a different color and I see other people had the same issue. But it does get the job done on pets and humans.

We love our tick twister- glad they finally come with a case to hold them. We keep it handy for our kids playing in the yard and I have a set at my parents and in my camping gear so we are ready any time a deer tick wants to take a bite out of us. With the newer set that includes a very small tick twister, not even the deer tick nymphs are too small to remove.
