excellent mix
The birds love this mix. It attracts cardinals, nuthatches, chickadees, and other small birds. Every now and then a thrasher will try for it from the feeder with a ledge. There is very little waste unlike the brand that calls itself that but which is almost all waste. The neighborhood peacocks seem to know when I refill the feeders because they quickly clean up seed I dropped (which is now done on purpose just for them.)

A great variety for birds and squirrels.Some stores don’t carry a variety mix like this, so I end up buying multiple bags of food separate for birds and squirrels.This one is loved by both.

Great Nut Mix, Missing Fruit
I ordered this brand when my regular nut and fruit mix was unavailable. This is a good price for the size. There are lots of seeds, but I can’t find any fruit in this.Update: I DID find fruit, but it was at the bottom of the bag. The fruit was in large clumps, which were easy to break up. I changed my rating to 5 star, as a result. My birds love this mix.

Pour It and They Will Come
Ok… I NEVER write reviews as I should, but let me tell you, this is the BEST bird food. I have been feeding the birds for a year or so and have never seen so many and such a variety of birds at my patio feeder. Anywhere from 2-12 eating all day long. My kids’ rooms back up to it and they are sooo annoyed with all the chirping and birdie squabbles just outside of their windows 🤭. Me, the birds, and the dog on the other hand, are happy and loving it. Oh! Also, I have never seen my dog sit for hours staring out the slider watching the birds as though they are an aquarium. Will be buying on repeat for sure (as I can afford).

I have been searching for the right birdseed that won’t bankrupt us, but don’t have lots of filler that out birds don’t eat. I resorted to buying black sunflower seeds, shelled peanuts to add to the usual food. I discovered that milo is not a favorite for my birds and is left on the ground (deck in our case) I am constantly looking for an affordable option to give our wild friends the right stuff. I tried this and am very satisfied with it as it also contains fruit. I use it along with the regular (cheaper) food and find it is right for the budget. It is a bit spendy, but not as much as other brands.
