Operation stepts：
1. Attach the display unit to the outside of the tank using the suction cups and submerge the probe into the water in the tank.
2. Press and hold the power (PWR) button to turn on. Hold the power button for 3 seconds to turn off. When temperature is higher than 70°C or lower than -50°C, “H°C” or “L°C” pops up on the screen. The main display unit of the thermometer must be kept away from water because it is not waterproof.

Does what they say they do.
So only 4 of the 5 worked which I’m not even gonna take any stars away since I only needed 4 anyway. So for the first few days I used all 4 in the same bucket with another one that I trust and they were all within the same temperature readings. Great deal even losing 1 to the karma gods. Battery has been going since I bought them. Easy to read the numbers.

The cord between read out and the gauge thing is super long on this.I put the probe part at the back of the tank, out of the way and stuck the display part on the side and had to wrap up a lot of cord.Like that the display is always on, though I wonder how long the battery will last. Has worked problem free since I got it.
