How should I apply Advantage Multi to my cat?

After breaking the seal on the tube (see package for instructions), part the hair on the back of your cat’s neck at the base of the head. Place the tip of the tube on the skin and apply the entire contents directly on the exposed skin.

Continuous, monthly treatment is recommended for reliable year-round protection against all five pests. Consult your veterinarian regarding your specific pet’s needs.

Your cat or kitten must be at least nine weeks old and weigh between 5.1 and 9.0 lbs. to use this formula.

Advantage Multi is only available by prescription. Subscribe to regular doorstep deliveries of 3-dose or 6-dose packs so you never miss a monthly treatment. Before starting any heartworm prevention program, it’s important for your veterinarian to test your cat for an existing heartworm infection.

CAUTION: Federal (U.S.A.) law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian. WARNINGS: Do not use on sick or debilitated cats or ferrets. Do not use on underweight cats. (see ADVERSE REACTIONS). Do not use on cats less than 9 weeks of age and cats or ferrets less than 2 lbs body weight. PRECAUTIONS: Avoid oral ingestion. HUMAN WARNINGS: Children should not come in contact with the application site for 30 minutes following application.
