Not much in the way of tannins came out while boiling the wood pieces. Glued some moss to the resin tree and the little chuncks too. Looks fantastic. Great price.

Mine arrived broken
The main resin piece arrived with the end branching broken off. The small bits of driftwood are nice but I wanted the resin tree to curl around in my tank and it is significantly less interesting broken

Perfect for my 2 gallon nano
I am currently building out a tiny 2 gallon nano aquarium and keeping it super simple with some Anubias and moss. I saw this hardscape set and it fit inside the tank perfectly. The wood pieces are real Malaysian driftwood and they sank right away, which was a pleasant surprise. The tank is still cycling but I can already tell this setup is going to look amazing once I add my shrimp. This is a shrimp only tank so I wanted something small and natural looking.I did boil the driftwood to pull out the tannins. If you have ever used real driftwood you know that is just part of the process. The resin structure is a bit rough in texture, which actually made attaching moss really easy. I still wrapped some fishing line around it to keep everything tight until the plants grab on. Overall it fits the scale of a nano tank really well and I am excited to see how it looks once everything grows in. Just FYI these are small pieces. Don’t expect to get some big chunks of wood.
