Cute cave for my fish
Looks cute in my fish tank. My corydoras love hiding inside of it, and even my mystery snails wander inside to take a nap!

Perfect little hideaway for smaller fish
About the size of a softball, and does not float away with current. Air bubbles easily escape from the chimney hole- could be cute if you put an air hose inside leading out there. Has only one entrance for fish to go in. Feels fairly thick, and not cheap like some ornaments at local pet stores. I have a 75 gallon tank and this little hidey- house is small for the tank, but works perfectly for my electric blue crayfish. He has been hiding under the filter since he got too big for his driftwood cave, and this is the only thing so far that made him feel safe enough to move out of his filter corner when the other fish are out. I have searched for something like this for months, and finally found something under $10 that my “lobster” wouldn’t get stuck in but felt safe enough to hide in since it keeps the big fish out.

DO NOT BUY – TOXIC WATER SOLUBLE PAINT
NOT AQUARIUM SAFE DO NOT BUYInitially I had bought this a couple months ago, and to test it, I had even roughly washed it before placing in my aquarium. It seemed fine at first, but 2 months I noticed the terracotta underneath appearing. I removed it out of the tank and immediately my finger left and imprint on the paint. After scrubbing as seen in the video, the paint came off. This product is not aquarium safe and should not be advertised as such.

Super cute, but needs modified for betta fish!!!
Update:I didn’t think the small windows would be an issue for my betta, but I was wrong!! He’s curious and explores a lot- I was away for two hours and he got stuck in the window and hurt himself 😭.Please don’t use this for bettas or any other fish that could get stuck in the smaller holes without modifying it. I will be modifying this and closing off the holes so he can’t get hurt again.— — —Original review:Great little hiding spot for my fish. Check inside holes for rough, pieces!!!
This is an adorable item. However it has a major problem.that every purchaser must be aware of! The inside of the holes is rough and must be smoothed or it can cause serious harm to your fish or in my case my African Dwarf Frogs and fish. I used a scissor to smooth the jagged pieces.

As with anything you put in the fish tank you want to rinse it off first but snail and shrimp love it. I put a live anubias plant in the chimney and everything is doing great

This took a ridiculously long time to arrive. It is exactly as in the description, and I like it. Just the postal time was way too long. Doesn’t help that Amazon kept prompting me for feedback on an item I didn’t have.
