The 50W aquarium heater is recommended for 5 to 15 gallon fish tank; heater length: 6.75”; power cord: 3.6ft; voltage: 110V/60Hz
Adjustable Temp: An easy-to-access dial on the top makes it a breeze to adjust the water temp from 65°F to 89°F.
Steady Temp: The red light automatically shuts off when the target temp is reached and then the heater keeps a constant temperature in your marine or freshwater aquarium.
Includes: 1x 50W Small Aquarium Heater, 2x Suction Cups, 1x Thermometer Strip
Cautions: Always keep it fully submerged under water before plugged in, and unplug it and wait for at least 10 mins before you do aquarium maintenance or take it out of water.

    Works great!
I bought this for my 5.5 gallon tank and it works very nicely. I love how it came with a strip to put outside the tank to monitor the temperature of the water.Overall a great little heater and good price.

    Satisfied Customer So Far
I received my heater/thermometer strip combo today. The price point is great for what looks to be a quality product. Although the dial to adjust the temperature is a bit tight, it wasn’t hard at all to turn it to set as I’ve read in several reviews. I’d prefer it that way instead of being on the loose side for safety’s sake. Installation was a breeze. No problems whatsoever with the two suction cups. They latched securely onto the side of my tank first try and without having to apply any pressure. The heater seems to be working as it should. I have a male electric yellow lab cichlid that can handle fluctuations in temperature. I’ve had this fish for a year now and I’ve never used a heater before in my aquarium so I have it set to the lowest recommended temperature for cichlids. I will come back to update my review later when I have given this heater plenty of time to prove its functionality and durability. Its size is just perfect for my aquarium.

    Really Great
I’m right in this on behalf of my clients, Blue the crayfish, 17 pond snails with 17 egg clutches, and a handful copepods/seed shrimp. One day , I went to my backyard and dug out muck and threw it in a tank then added water and my two pieces of self found drift food that are older than pretty much every modern relationship. The goal was simple. Keep changing the pitch black water until it was clear then add the real, treated water with just the right amount of aquarium salt after it settled and cycled. Then plants.Unfortunately for me, I had a lot of hitchhikers who thrive in 0 tech backyard goo. So now I have a real tank. I thought that they would be happier with a heater and water flow, what was nervous about adding any flow. I used to breed competive show betas, dapnia, larva, 0 flow stuff that get shredded or stressed if the water moves too much. But to my great relief on a low setting it is very gentle with tons of bubbles and doesnt disturb my crayfish’s patterns at all. It seems so much happier and enetgetic. In the video , you can see a seed shrimp swim right by the bubbles. Not sure about the snails though, they naturally surface to use the top of the water as a highway, then dive again after refilling and they keep getting spun. Some of them are crawling to the top instead. So I think they will just need to get used to it.Anyway , yeah , for the price , this is an amazing pump. It came with all the valves.I could possibly need to set this up in any way that I wanted to. The tubing is extremely high quality and does not detach from any of the pieces without a great great amount of force. It doesn’t have any weird smells. It cannot run a splitter from a single valve. I tried. If you want to , you have to run it from each outlet which works fantastic. Plenty of power even with both connected, or just one, using check valves.I used to run an aquaculture business, so I’m very used to aquarium pumps for hatching brine shrimp. If you take the Stone off this it would work, really, really great for that. There is enough on the high flow to be just perfect for hatching eggs, two bottles at a time- you could set up your holding tank and your hatching bottle. If you are not used to keeping aquarium pumps , you have to cut the tubing to do what you need it to do. Pump -> tube-> one way check valve (has an arrow otherwise blow to figure out what direction) -> tube -> airstone. (Or connect to sponge filter or decor. Or leave open tube for brine shrimp hatching.)The sound is low normal, but has a secondary component making a high frequency when you dial it all the way to the lowest setting, so I had to crank it up just a bit.

    Don’t Buy
I replaced a water heater that I’ve had for about 3 years, I was using it in a homemade incubator to create moisture but I upgraded my beta tank and wanted to put my nice heater in the tank and get this heater to put in my incubator.I put this new one in an extra tank I had to test quality. It kept the temperature pretty consistent so I switched them and put this one in my incubator. This is kind of my fault as I should have known better then to mess with my system in the last week. But sometime after I had checked the temperature and moisture before going to bed (was perfect) the water heater went out in the middle of the night and wouldn’t turn back on the next morning. When I checked in the morning it was as dry as a desert in there and the eggs were cold to the touch (day 20)I immediately replaced the water heater with the original one and still saw a little bit of movement from some of the eggs! I was hopeful but by day 23 all of the eggs died.I’m really disappointed. I should have known better than to buy an 8$ water heater. But Regardless of price, it should have lasted longer then 2 days.I want to add that I have successfully hatched other batches of chicks before this and have never had issues.

    Heats up without burning up.
Best little heater for my aquarium, keeps it at right temperature, plus getting a thermometer with the deal is nice, just reading it is difficult. But the heater works well

    Great price, short cord, troubleshooting
This heater is so good for the price! I’ve bought two, these Worked better than my other one that I had gotten at the pet store. my only complaints are that the cord is pretty short and you have to tweak the temperature a lot, make sure you have a thermometer to check because to get my 10 gal to stay at 80 degrees, I have to put the dial at around 85 for it to stay at 80.

    Needs a little work
This is nice and compact and I like that it has a light to tell you when it’s running however it does fall short in a couple other areas. As other reviewers have said it’s not consistent with heating. The thermometer that comes with it really doesn’t work so don’t count on that. Unfortunately, the numbers on the top if they are under the water those numbers wipe off so then you can’t see what temperature you set it at. I’ve had it at the office for maybe a month or so and constantly I’m checking the water temperature.I have it set at 82 (I would be guessing- since no visible numbers) and the temperature stays around 78 to 79. The dial is a little difficult to turn as well. It’s very tight.
