Bright and eye-catching, fish use it, but check for rough edges first

Decorative and fish love it, although needs modification.
Very colorful and my fish like to go in sometimes. However, I read a few complaints in the comments about sharp edges around the holes and a film being released into the water which caused cloudiness. To avoid injuring my fish I used sandpaper to smoothen the edges and soaked the decoration for at least 24 hours in the sink. There was no visible film or cloudiness, however. The edges were quite sharp and would be nice if this came ready out of the box, hence the 4 stars. Overall I am very happy with this purchase.

There are no sharp edges for fins to get torn on and it has a big enough hole that nothing should get trapped easily.

Be careful
I am happy with the look of the item. Just as advertised. My issue is there were several very sharp protrusions on the edges of every opening. I was worried it would hurt my fish swimming through. I thought about trying to file or sand those areas since my daughter picked the item out. It does look good just wish it didn’t have sharp edges.

Good fit for a small tank
So far so good. Fish seem to love the new hiding spot this cave created. The colors are nice and the product seems to be made of good quality material. I had a smaller cave like hide that kept losing paint everytime I cleaned the tank. I’m hoping this one will not have the same problem. Overall I feel it was a good buy. Time will tell if it last but the fish really love going in and out of the different holes so that alone makes me happy. The dimensions were accurate. I have about a 5to7 gallon tank. Not sure since it was given to me but it’s not very big and this fit just right. Takes up space in my small tank but the kids and I think it makes the tank look a lot more colorful and fun for the fish. If the paint starts to chip off I’ll update the review, but for now I am very pleased with the product I received.
